OUR EXPERTISE
ODYSSEUM’s principals have 85 years of combined financial expertise, gained in large financial institutions and venture capital in London, New York, Washington D.C. and Paris. Together they combine strong expertise and networks in emerging markets, corporate law, venture capital, risk management and complex financial structuring to deliver strategic advice, access to investors, access to new markets and partners, expertise in execution, financing and exit strategies.
OUR PHILISOPHY
ODYSSEUM's philosophy is to be very selective of its partners, while bringing its expertise for a share in the project, insuring “skin in the game” and alignment. ODYSSEUM's principals take an active role as members of the board and/or the management team.
ODYSSEUM also works with buy-side investors to source and co-invest in specific assets to satisfy geographic, thematic and technical targets.

Veronique Bardach
Veronique is an experienced investment and management professional with a varied background in corporate law, structured finance and venture capital. Her primary focus is on investment structuring as well as portfolio management and growth for high returns.
Since co-founding Four Seasons Ventures (FSV) in 2004 a Washington DC based early stage venture capital firm. Veronique has been Managing Partner and General Counsel for FSV with extensive experience successfully establishing, funding, growing and selling companies in technologies developed in US Military and DoD Research Labs (DARPA, Lawrence Livermore, Argonne); and overseeing operations and day-to-day management of 13 FTE and a 6-member scientific advisory board.
Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, she was Executive Vice President (Corporate Finance) at Westminster Securities, a New YorkStock Exchange member firm, where she specialised in structured transactions for middle market public biotech firms and advised private cross-border companies on public stock offerings in the U.S.
From January 2001 to June 2003, Veronique was a partner at ITF Global, heading the Private Equity Group, specialising in venture capital financing in the biotech and energy sectors.
Before ITF, she was the founder and CEO of Inshop, the leading provider of local retail sales information for online portals such as AOL/Time Warner, NBCi, The LA Times, iVillage, and others. At Inshop, she raised capital from blue chip investors to grow the business and expanded the service to 52 US cities and London.
Veronique previously worked as corporate counsel for AT&T WorldNet and drove the development of their first e-commerce portal.
Prior to AT&T, she was a corporate attorney in the cross-border group at Clifford Chance, assisting foreign clients raise financing in U.S. public markets.
Veronique is an active member of the venture capital community, serves on several boards, and has published in legal journals. She also sits on the board of The Climate Leadership Council, a leading U.S. policy institute, addressing climate change through public policy.
She graduated from Georgetown University, and holds a BSC from Georgetown school of Foreign Service, before obtaining her Juris Doctor at Georgetown School of Law.
